Global Learning Platform Modernization & Migration
Founder’s role: Product Strategy & Program Coordination · 2025–2026
Overview
A multinational learning platform modernization initiative designed to serve users across approximately 100 countries.
The platform needed to support different organizational structures, user permissions, learning assignments, incentive mechanisms, and regional operating requirements while maintaining consistent core functionality.
The project also involved transitioning user and learning data from a legacy platform into a new environment, requiring coordination across business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational functions.
Challenge
The platform had to balance globally consistent services with organization-specific rules and local operating requirements.
Multiple delivery teams were working within a constrained launch schedule, while data migration, user access, system validation, and operational readiness created dependencies across different parts of the project.
Founder’s contribution
The founder served in a product strategy and project leadership capacity, coordinating requirements and key decisions across business, product, design, engineering, infrastructure, and partner organizations. Key responsibilities included:
- Structuring organization-level access and permission policies
- Defining learning assignment, incentive, and ranking-related business rules
- Coordinating timezone-related service policies
- Establishing staged data migration principles for user, organization, permission, and learning records
- Aligning API-based and bulk migration responsibilities
- Supporting QA planning, release checkpoints, and operational handover
- Separating launch-critical requirements from post-launch improvements
Outcomes
Per project records- Supported release readiness for an April 2026 beta rollout targeting approximately 100 countries
- Established a three-stage data migration strategy
- Defined validation criteria for load testing at a scale of 20,000 users
- Improved alignment around release scope, dependencies, and acceptance criteria
